Search indemnity fee

This is in connection with the local authority search it is a fee that can be paid in the event that the search has not come back from the local authority. All it is, is a lump sum insurance policy that insures against an adverse local authority search. You proceed and buy the house and if the search comes back saying for example that there is a motorway due to be built through the house then the insurance will pay out to compensate you.
